"Chinese" Make-Up Bag
I found this great "Chinese" embroidered cotton in April this year in a little cottage town at a dollar store that has a whole bunch of ribbons and trims and laces, a virtual goldmine of inspiration. It took me awhile to get around to making something, but earlier this month I picked up some pink satin at my local Wal*Mart in the fabric department, and this was the end result. The interior is lined with a great darker pink cotton.
I think this bag would make a great travel case for make-up, and could even be used as a purse for a fancier occasion.
Abstract Purse
I made this purse last week, I really like the way it turned out. It's crafted from a vintage silk scarf and new green and red cottons. And, you can purchase it over at my Etsy site.

Chunky Book
I made a contribution to a chunky book earlier this year that was to be auctioned off in support of victims of the tsunami last December. I am glad to see that it is now done and will be going to an equally worthy cause.
It is finally up and for sale, you can see shots of it here, and there is more information on the project here.
You can bid on this project here.

Pink Business
I finished this fun makeup case last night. I really like it. It has a bright pink lining, with one exterior pocket and two interior pockets.
